What is Your Face Telling You

Picture
They say beauty is only skin deep, but is this really the case? Or does external beauty stem from our internal health?  What if our breakouts & our face is telling us more than we think? What if our face is the map into our body.

The chinese discovered thousands of years ago how to  look at the face to see what's going on internally with our organs. Our bodies have many ways of communicating with us so long as we are willing to listen. Here are the areas of breakouts & the organs they are connected to:

Forehead:

Breakouts on the forehead usually point to the small intestine or heart issues. If you have redness or small blood vessels that appear as discoloration, it could indicate a heart problem. A heart attack can often be foretold by a subtle bluish-green hue on the forehead. The good news is the heart is one of the fastest healing organs in the body if given the proper tools.

Nose:
Breakouts on or around the nose represent possible issues with the  stomach, spleen or pancreas. An internal system that is upset whether by what you ate typically shows up with a pimple on the tip or side of your nose. Giving your body enough enzymes & probiotics will help balance the internal system. Stress will also show up in the nose area. If you find yourself stressed, meditate, take a walk & de-stress to give your body & face a break!

Chin:
Breakouts on the chin have to do with both hormones or your glandular system as well as kidney/bladder issues, to nourish your urinary & kidney systems click here. If you get recurring breakouts on the chin then it's most likely contributed to hormone issues, possibly estrogen dominance in the body. Be sure to also look at your philtrum, the indentation just above your lips. This small area relates to the uterus and ovaries in women and the prostate and genitals in men. Horizontal lines, blemishes or discoloration across the philtrum may indicate infertility issues due to problems such as endometriosis or uterine fibroid cysts. Click here to begin balancing your glandular & hormone system. Hormones control everything in our bodies.

Right Cheek:
The right cheek is connected to your lungs & large intestine network. Skin issues will usually appear in the form of discoloration, eczema, scaly patches & pimples of course. This usually is a sign that your respiratory system could use some extra help, but more often than not it is a sign of a backed up colon (no matter how many times you go per day) that is compacted with weeks, months  sometimes years of toxic waste. Disease & illnesses begin in the gut. Keep your colon clean! Try this to flush the waste out

Left Cheek:
The left cheek is connected to the liver & gallbladder. Broken capillaries and redness, especially up next to the bridge of your nose, indicate heat, inflammation or congestion of toxins in the liver. A yellowish hue under the left eye may indicate gallstones or high triglycerides or cholesterol, which are processed by the liver & gall bladder network. Our liver is in charge of filtering & eliminating toxins from the body, if the liver & gallbladder aren't functioning properly it will cause more health problems than just skin issues. Be sure to detoxify the liver regularly. A great place to start detoxifying is here

The more we learn about our body's subtle communications with us, the more efficient we become in tackling our health issues early. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Our face is one of the 1st places our body will tell us when there is something going on internally. Listen to your body, nourish your body, love your body!
