Special Treatment Q & A

Why do I need special treatment products if I’m already using a complete skincare line?
Special treatments go beyond your basic skincare regimen to provide specialized care where and when you need it most. Since few of us are blessed with flawless skin, Noevir has developed special treatment products to target each of your most common concerns, including fine lines, wrinkles, dullness, discoloration and dark under-eye circles.

If I have oily skin, do I still need to moisturize?
Yes. Naturally healthy, hydrated skin maintains the optimum moisture balance of sebum (skin’s natural oils) and water (perspiration). Oily skin may have an abundance of sebum but lack water to keep the complexion supple. Additionally, a lack of water may trigger sebaceous glands to compensate with an overproduction of oil. Noevir moisturizers are formulated to help regulate the natural moisture balance of skin by mimicking skin’s own natural moisturizer.

I thought I’d outgrown acne, but now my skin is showing signs of aging and I still suffer breakouts from time to time. What can I do?
Often triggered by stress and hormonal changes, blemishes in mature skin is more common than many people realize. Fortunately, there are steps you can take to help bring your blemish issues under control while addressing concerns of premature signs of aging. A healthy diet, exercise and stress management may significantly benefit those with adult blemishes. Also, add NO-AGX to your daily skincare regimen to help address these complex issues including adult blemishes and various signs of aging. With regular use, you will experience improved clarity, refined texture and it'll help keep flare-ups at bay.

I don't have any special skin concerns. Should I use a special treatment product?
We recommend masking two to three times per week for all skin types. Regular use helps speed exfoliation of dead surface cells, loosens embedded impurities and enhances the performance of your moisturizers.

Why is exfoliation important?
Youthful skin renews itself completely on a 28-day cycle. As skin ages, this renewal rate slows significantly, increasing to as long as 40 days. During this time, sebaceous (oil) gland activity also begins to decline. This is why older complexions lose their translucent appearance and tend to look dull and dehydrated. While we can’t stop this natural process, proper care—including regular exfoliation—can help accelerate sluggish skin renewal for a healthy, radiant and younger-looking complexion.

What is the benefit of hydroxy acids?
Hydroxy acid treatments aid the natural exfoliation process of skin, revealing a brighter, healthier complexion while encouraging newer skin to emerge. Quick Recovery Mask and Recovery Complex contain gentle hydroxy acids.

I’m confused about the different types of hydroxy acids. Is one type better than another?
All hydroxy acids work in a similar fashion by helping to "unglue" the bonds that hold dead surface cells together.

Benefits of Facial Massage

Did you know daily massaging helps boost skin turnover for a firmer, more youthful appearance?
